Culture Card
The Culture Card gives you as a student a year of free admission to Helsingborg’s large cultural facilities Sofiero castle and palace gardens, Fredriksdal museums and gardens, Dunkers Kulturhus and Kärnan. With the Culture Card you can go to the Festival of light, Rose festival, Christmas Market, The grand garden festival, Mikaeli Market and lots of other popular events.

The card also gives you discounts on other attractions but also on tickets to theater and concerts.

Price: 250 SEK, valid for 12 months.

Pålsjö forest
Pålsjö forest, a beech wood forest almost in the city centre. This oasis is the main recreation area for the citizens of Helsingborg and highly appreciated. Have a coffee break with Swedish waffles at the Forest Pavilion from 1914 surrounded by high beech trees and a symphony of birdsong. 

Landborg trail- Starting point Slottshagen
Welcome to experience Helsingborg’s unique hiking trail. Landborgen of Helsingborg is unique and was formed 13,000 years ago when the inland ice melted. The trail starts in Slottshagen. Here you can choose if you want to take the trail north or south.

The landborg promenade is filled with variety with many fantastic green areas and beautiful views of the city and the Sound.

Cold baths
In Helsingborg we not only take a dip in the ocean during summer, we do it all year round! It´s a strong and long tradition for many of the Helsingborg citizens. Visit one of our three cold bath houses (Kallis, Pålsjöbaden and Råå) for a refreshing bath following by a nice and relaxing time in the hot sauna with beautiful view of the sea.

Tura
If you’ve been to Helsingborg before, you’ve surely heard of ”Taking a Tura.” But what in the world does that mean? It’s a local expression for taking the ferry across the sound to Helsingör – without getting off! You can go back and forth as many times as you like and take the opportunity to enjoy “two red and a green” (or, two Danish hot dogs and a Tuborg beer) at the same time.

There is no real reason why you shouldn’t get off in Helsingör, though. In fact, you should probably spend a few hours strolling around the quaint streets, visit Værftets Madmarked with streetfood for lunch and buy a few genuine Danish pastries to take home with you. If you’re looking for a bit of culture, stop in at Kronborg Castle, Maritime Museum or The Culture Yard.
